Terms of Service

1. Scope
These Terms govern the conditions for using “Lume” (the “Service”) provided by 【business name】 (“we”/“us”) and the relationship between us and the user. By using the Service you agree to these Terms. Our address, contact and other business details are as stated in the “Specified Commercial Transactions Act” notice.
2. Registration
Users must register accurate, current information using the methods we specify and update it promptly when it changes. Minors must obtain the consent of a parent or legal guardian before using the Service.
3. Account security
Users are responsible for safeguarding their account credentials and must not let third parties use, borrow, or take over their account. Losses arising from inadequate credential management are the user's responsibility.
4. Fees & payment
Fees for paid plans, the billing unit (credits), billing timing and payment methods follow the display within the Service and the “Specified Commercial Transactions Act” notice. Given the nature of a digital service, refunds after access begins are handled as set out in that notice.
5. Prohibited conduct
You may not violate laws or public order, infringe others' rights, place excessive load on or gain unauthorized access to our servers, reverse-engineer the Service, abusively resell or scrape data obtained through the Service, or do anything else we reasonably deem inappropriate.
6. Changes, suspension & termination
We may change, suspend, or terminate all or part of the Service — giving notice where practicable — for maintenance, outages, changes to external services, or other reasons we reasonably consider necessary. Prior notice is not required in an emergency.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
Analyses, search ranks, traffic estimates, AI-generated reports and AI-visibility results are provided for reference only. We do not warrant their accuracy, completeness, usefulness, or fitness for a particular purpose, nor the output of third-party APIs (search engines, AI models, etc.). Final decisions are the user's responsibility.
8. Limitation of liability
Except in cases of our willful misconduct or gross negligence, our total liability for damages arising from breach of contract or tort shall be capped at the total fees actually paid by the user to us in the 12 months preceding the event, and we are not liable for incidental or consequential damages or lost profits. Where the user is a consumer under the Consumer Contract Act, this section applies only to the extent it does not conflict with that Act or other mandatory law.
9. Account closure
Users may close their account at any time using the methods we specify. After closure we delete or retain related data in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable law. We do not refund unused credits or remaining term unless the “Specified Commercial Transactions Act” notice provides otherwise.
10. Exclusion of anti-social forces
The user represents and warrants that they are not, and have no relationship with, organized crime or other anti-social forces. If a breach comes to light, we may terminate the agreement without notice or demand.
11. Intellectual property
Intellectual property rights in the Service and its software, content and trademarks belong to us or the rightful owners. Rights in data you enter remain yours; we may use it only as needed to provide and improve the Service.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may amend these Terms in accordance with Article 548-4 of the Civil Code (standard-form contract amendments) where the change benefits users generally, or is consistent with the purpose of the contract and reasonable and necessary. We will announce any change and its effective date by posting within the Service or other appropriate means.
13. Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The district court with jurisdiction over our location shall be the exclusive court of first instance for disputes (without prejudice to mandatory consumer-jurisdiction rules where the user is a consumer).
